The inspiration behind this version of the technique were old and faint frescoes.
It is all about the ‘destroyed’ painting layer; the color scheme can be both moderate, almost monochrome, and
colorful. However, the main feature of this option that differs it from all the previous options is completely different work with shadows that creates the effect of ‘aged’ surface.

Initially, this technique was based on 'Colored Portrait'. This is how Svetlana explains why she singled out this topic as a separate technique: 'Since here we remove such a powerful tool for forming a picture as 'color', the works done exactly with the same techniques as in the 'Colored' technique seemed inexpressive to me... I had to add a few nuances and tricks to bring the technique back to life, and the technique stood out in a beautiful way. Now I am just in love with it - it seems to me that the works made in this technique are amazingly gentle, like crystal.
